El Rio Community Health Center

Located on East Golf Links near Kolb Road in southeast Tucson, this building houses a public health clinic for El Rio Community Health Center, the largest provider of medical and dental services to the uninsured and Medicaid populations of Pima County. El Rio serves 74,000 annually at clinics throughout southern Arizona. This location, built and owned by MRW, Inc. and its investors, was the first LEED-certified “green” structure of its kind in Tucson. Innovative design and layout makes it possible for this building to comfortably serve 8,000 patients per year with pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, behavioral health care and patient advocacy. Completed in August, 2009, El Rio signed a ten-year triple-net lease on the 14,200 sq. ft. building.
